FUN STUFF
Uh… trying to put together a freaking website, and maybe some mountain biking, sailing or something.

WORK STUFF
After graduating with his chemical engineering degree from OSU, Colby started working for HP. Although his first job was doing more traditional chemical engineering work in the wafer fab, over the years he’s changed groups several times doing some fluid dynamics design, failure analysis, and reliability engineering.  In the spring of 2006, Colby changed work groups again and started doing quality & reliability engineering for a new business group within HP – Halo video telepresence.

Then in May 2010, Colby left HP to join Ednetics – a company started and run by his high school friend Shawn (company president) and Will (vice president).  Shawn started the network solutions company in 1997 with a focus on serving education customers and in the subsequent years has grown it into a thriving business with 35 employees (growing all the time) and a brand new corporate headquarters in Post Falls, Idaho.  Colby came into Ednetics to start and grow their new Oregon office (currently located in the spare bedroom).
